Mandela's Life & Death:'(


Rolihlahla Mandela was born on July 18th 1918. He is now known as Nelson Mandela because when he was younger, his teacher couldn't say his name properly. So she/he started calling him Nelson to make it easier to say. Ever since then, everyone started calling him Nelson Mandela. His occupation was civil rights activist, a world leader and a writer. He sounds like one of those Martin Luther King, Rosa Parks people who stands up for their country and fights for equality.

In his early life, he went to a school near Qunu and received the name Nelson. When Nelson finished school, he attends healdtown, the Wesleyan College at Fort Beaufort. In the year 1939, Mandela enrols at the University College at Fort Hare in Alice. The year after that, he was expelled.

Mandela was transferred to Pollsmoor Prison in 1982. He wasted 20 years of his life time in jail with nobody to talk to and if he was lucky, he would of gotten a really thin mattress to lay on. When Nelson was released in 1990, he

When Nelson Mandela’s time ended on December 6th 2013, everybody has been talking about him a lot. As everyone says their goodbyes, Mandela’s body is taken away. A new life begins for Rolihlahla/Nelson Mandela.
