Aussie Rules

Guess what amazing day room fifteen had? Well, we have been learning the skills required to play Aussie Rules.

The equipment you need is a small stitched rugby ball, four goal posts and a oval rugby field. The rugby ball is a special essential because you can’t play Aussie Rules without a ball.

You might find this game quite awkward. It will be unexpected because it is an unknown game. We learnt the drop punt, high mark and other passes. When you are doing a bounce pass it is unpredictable because you don’t know what direction it will bounce towards.

My favourite thing I really enjoyed was every thing because it was all different to other sports. I hope next year we can play Aussie Rules again.
